Kerry M. Kartchner is a visiting associate professor in the Department of Political Science at Brigham Young University, having previously served as senior advisor for strategic communications in the Department of International Security and Nonproliferation at the U.S. Department of State. While there, Kartchner took a leave of absence to serve as visiting practitioner in residence at the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University, where he taught graduate courses on countering WMD and comparative international ethics. He is co-editor with Jeffrey Larsen of the award-winning book On Limited Nuclear War in the 21st Century.
