Nadia E. Brown is Associate Professor & University Faculty Scholar in Political Science, as well as faculty at the African American Studies and Research Center, at Purdue University. She is the author or co-author of numerous studies involving the intersection of race, gender, and politics in the United States, including the book Sister Style, on which this talk is based.
