A set of different public health issues and recent innovations already have or could be “game changers.” What is revolutionary about these approaches or technologies, and what are the practical considerations needed to avoid failure or unanticipated outcomes?

Reshma Naik is a senior policy analyst for the Population Reference Bureau, a nonprofit organization that collects and supplies statistics for research and/or academic purposes. Naik has worked on a range of topics in global public health and has lived and worked in rural parts of Ghana and South Africa conducting community-based intervention research. She frequently travels to sub-Saharan Africa for projects aiming to bridge the gap between research and practice. Naik received an MPH from the Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine and a DrPH from the Boston University School of Public Health.
