The challenges of reducing human suffering over the past two years has been more challenging than ever. Warner Woodworth, professor emeritus in the BYU Department of Management, will offer some of his experiences regarding the difficulties for those who suffer globally, as well as those of us laboring to serve the poor. He will also briefly highlight several cases from his new book, Radiant Mormonism: How Latter-day Saints Use Social Entrepreneurship, Microfinance and Other Tools to Change the World, and will share a couple of lessons from the field of practicing social innovation during the COVID-19 pandemic.
This event is hosted by the Students for International Development (SID) club.
