Laura Gamboa is an assistant professor of political science at Utah State University. Gamboa’s research focuses on opposition strategies against the democratic erosion in Colombia and Venezuela.
Sam Handlin is an assistant professor of political science at the University of Utah. Handlin’s research interests are in the comparative politics of developing countries, with a regional emphasis on Latin America, and a substantive focus on party systems, representation, and political regimes.
