James Clarkson joined the U.S. Department of State Foreign Service and served in Russia, Ghana, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Mexico, and Spain after graduating from BYU in Russian and Political Science. While representing the U.S. abroad, he has investigated identity fraud in West Africa, managed assets of the U.S. government of over $15 million, facilitated legitimate travel of U.S. citizens and foreign nationals while fortifying our national security, and supported travel of U.S. presidents, the Speaker of the House, Secretaries of State, and members of Congress. Never bored in his career, Clarkson has loved exploring the world with his wife Mikayla and their four crazy boys.
