Scott DeAngelo is a former career intelligence officer who spent twenty-seven years with the CIA, where he held a wide range of analytic and management positions both domestically and abroad. DeAngelo currently is a faculty member at the Center for Creative Leadership and runs his own consulting company teaching leadership development, executive coaching, and effective interview and hiring techniques. He received a BA in political science and Italian studies from UC–Sacramento and an MA in comparative politics from Claremont Graduate School.
