Josh Loud is an associate director at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in London and the head of the Country Risk team, which is responsible for managing country and sovereign risk across the EBRD’s countries of operations. Loud previously worked as a senior country risk analyst at GE Capital in Connecticut and as a research economist at the U.S. Treasury Department. He received a BA in economics/political science from BYU, an MA in economics from Stanford University, and a PhD in political economics from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Loud was a Kennedy Scholar in 2006–07.
