David Holt joined the Diplomatic Security Service as a Foreign Service special agent in 2010. Holt previously worked as an analyst for the Government Accountability office, focusing on border security, cyber warfare, and nuclear weapons issues. He has served in Houston, Basrah, Muscat, Rabat, and is currently assigned to Denver. Holt received a BA from the University of Utah and an MA from the University of Pittsburg in security and intelligence studies. He and his wife Jessica Hirschi are the parents of five children.
