Richard Bruner currently works at the U.S. Department of State as a contractor in the GEC. He has taken the Foreign Service Exam several times—recently expiring off the register—and frequently runs prep groups for others. He knows the exam inside and out and is very active in several of the pre-FSO communities. He spent two years at the American Foreign Service Association (AFSA) and two years at the Department of Defense. Richard served as co-president for BYU’s Foreign Service Student Organization and received a BA in History from BYU and a master’s degree in Strategic Public Relations from George Washington University.
